Country White paint ...

It's been a long time since I've pulled out my cans of Country White paint!

Spring is coming, the store room is full of  "brown junk" and I

 need some good weather to get outside and paint!!!

 The weather here is just a tad crazy these days...this morning was rainy and cold,  this afternoon was sunny

 and 70 something degrees and now we have a forecast for the 20's for the next 3 - 4 days!

  

Spring, I am so looking forward to seeing you again real soon!

 Since I can't paint I think I will sew!  What do you other junkies do when the weather is 

 making changes in your creative plans???

I mentioned in the last update here that Tina had put her artistic stamp on the walls of Granny's cafe. She made the place look beautiful and homey!!

Here are a few sneak peeks--you'll have to come to the cafe yourself to see how beautiful it really is.

Doesn't it look great? I especially love what she did in the diningroom w/ the red and white checkered floor.

January Flea Market News

We've got everyone and everything moved from the red building into the main flea-house and we're ready for the cafe to open (which will be a week from tonight--yay!!!) We're all very excited to say the least!

Tina has been working her decorating magic on Miz Katie's walls. I'm going to go photograph them on Saturday and will share here and on Granny's Cafe facebook page.

Here are a few shots of the ever-changing set up. We've got everything looking pretty spiffy and lots of new things for sale.

Starting off fresh in the New Year

You all would not believe how hard we've all been working in the flea market. There has been lots of purging, cleaning, and rearranging going on. We're all still dragging from Christmas, but happy to be welcoming in a brand new year full of wonderful changes and opportunities!

The biggest move was done by these two (Beverly & Reggie)

Change is coming!

Happy New Year !

Change is coming and I think all our junkin' friends are going to be

as excited as we are!

6 years ago we closed our cafe that was connected to the flea house

and now we have leased out the building to Katie  Moreno Baker 

and her family who will be reopening the cafe at the end of this month!

This also means we have had to make some shifting changes in the flea as we had

some booths in part of the cafe dining rooms.  We been "working hard for our money"

the last few days and the effort is paying off big time!

Will be updating with some new pics as soon as Miz Carla brings her camera !

We will keep ya'll posted as to when the cafe will open and  everything is up and running!
