We were hot but so were the deals....

at this month's "Junkin' on Main" event. Many thanks to the diehard junkers who braved the heat and came out to visit and shop with us. We appreciate you all so much! Here are a few snaps taken around the fleahouse on Friday.

Have a blessed weekend

Saturday May 1st

This Saturday found Miz Tina and her band of Gypsies at the annual Heritage Festival held at the Long Leaf Museum. Rain threatened to ruin our little parade, but we persevered and by His Grace stayed completely dry. Here are a few snapshots taken of Tina's booth. Everyone loved her signs!

Flea-Market REDO time

After a big sale like we had last weekend I like to change and rearrange all the "rooms" in the fleahouse. Now, when I bring in the new I'll already have a place for it. Here are a few shots of the new set ups.

Last Weekend/ "Trade Days" Washington, LA

Hi Everyone!

Carla here once again blogging for the ever.so.fabulous (and super busy) Miz Tina. This past weekend the flea-market maven and her band of junkin' tent gypsies (myself included) took our little show on the road. We set up shop on the lawn of the gorgeous old schoolhouse in Washington. We had a blast playing fleamarket outside in the sunshine and would like to thank all of you who shopped with us or stopped by to visit with us. We truly enjoyed it and hope to see you back there in October!

The weather could not have been any more perfect (Thank you LORD)... There was lots of glorious sunshine that left us with pink noses and arms, but we weren't complaining... we're just happy that spring is here and we didn't go straight from winter to summer like we do so often here in the South.

Here are a few snapshots I took of Tina and Julia's booth.

Just about everything Tina took with her this weekend sold--so now she's gotta get busy and fill the shop back up with more gathered treasures.

This is our lovely friend Miz Pat. Pat makes gorgeous bows and these adorable dresses you see in the photo...she's a hoot and a total sweetheart.

Miz Julia has such a wonderful gift for putting things together. I love this vignette!

I watched JuJu put this display together in a matter of minutes--Tina told me this evening that a lady came by and purchased most of what you see in the photo, to duplicate the "look" at her house.

Some of Tina's lovely old doors and windows.

Picture frames and spindles--two of our favorite things!

Some of Tina's fun shabby chic signs.

My absolute favorite display--loving the purple and green with the white!

Since Julia and Tina were getting all the business... I decided to put one of my silver trays on Tina's old typewriter :D

Here is the lovely Julia... JuJu as Tina calls her. She's so much fun!

and last but certainly not least a pic of our gorgeous friend Debbie--isn't she adorable?
Our next stop will be the Heritage Festival @ the Long Leaf Museum on May 1st. We hope to see lots of you there!
Happy Junkin' to all!!

Spring has sprung in the fleamarket!

Hey Everyone
Miz Carla (Tina's friend and blog coach LOL) here. Miz Tina has been very busy lately and has neglected her blogging homework, so she's given me the go ahead to post some of the photos I snapped of her pretty vignettes in the fleamarket this afternoon.
Happy Spring to all!!!

Finally........a few pictures...

These are a few pictures of our shop on Main Street, Glenmora, Louisiana! We have an occasional sale called "Junkin' on Main". Our next sale will be March 19, 20 and 21st! There are 4 flea markets in Glenmora and for this March sale all will be having sidewalk and inside sales! We are all praying for sunshine and lots of traffic! Also, our "tent gypsies" will be set up outside and there will also be some garage sales in town this weekend! Lots of stuff to be had!!! Bring a truck...just saying...

Hope to see you here! There will be a gift for the first 15 customers who tell me they read my blog and had to come check things out!!!

Happy junkin'

Busy weekend...still no pics...

We had such a sunshine filled busy weekend! Friday the shop was really busy with lots of great folks stopping by...and buying!!!

Saturday we took a roadtrip to North Louisiana. One of my nieces graduated from college ... and... we junked there and back (and ate all day too!) I got some neat stuff but I still don't know how to load the pictures!!!! Soon and very soon I will learn how! Thanks to those of you who posted comments on my 1st post ... I love responses!

Sunday is church day in our family and we had some wonderful services yesterday! I LOVE my church family! Monday is always "clean house" day at the Burnaman's because we have our ladies bible study here each Monday nite (love my girls)! We are in the middle of Beth Moore's study of Revelations right now and it is an awesome study! We had 24 ladies last week and it was raining cats and dogs...just like it is supposed to do tonite too...

Can't wait to tell you all about my shop and post some pics of it too!

Until later....

Tina B.
